The original mecha anime Majestic Prince started on April 4 on Tokyo MX. It is an ambitious anime that aims for being the best new mecha anime of 2013.
Just before airing on TV, new characters were announced one after another. It seems the sci-fi story of Majestic Prince will feature many characters whose stories are interwoven with each other. On the official website, you can check out information on the more than 40 characters and cast members.
Among the new characters, Kuroki Anju, a pilot cadet associated with MJP, should be noted. Kuroki is a girl with a stern expression who will somehow be involved with the characters in Team Rabbit. She is voiced by Akeno Watanabe, who played the main protagonist in the To Love-Ru series, Rito Yuuki.
In addition, the glamorous chief mechanic Reika Saionji and the female doctor Ruler Chan were introduced. Reika Saionji is voiced by Sayaka Ohara and Ruler Chan is voiced by Mai Toudou.
The cast of Team Doberman, Team Rabbits’ upperclassmen, was also announced. Anri Katsu voices Randy Maxwell, Ayumu Murase voices Patrick Hoyle, and Yuuki Fujiwara voices Rakesh Chandrasekhar.
From the mysterious force Urgal, Yukana was appointed for Rutiel’s role, Junichi Suwabe for Rumes, and Chihiro Suzuki for Rada.
