All-night Event Held for “Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.” Featuring Special Guests

On April 20, three works from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex were screened at the mini-theater Shin-Bungeiza in Japan. The talk show event “Kenji Kamiyama’s Miracle: The Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C Special” was also held and featured the producer and screenwriter Kenji Kamiyama and the editor-in-chief of Animestyle, Yuichiro Ogura. Fans were able to enjoying hearing from Kamiyama, who is also known for Cyborg 009 and Eden of the East.

This event was the 39th “Shin-Bungeiza x Animestyle Selection” event held by Animestyle, a magazine and online source for anime news. These all-night collaborative events have become quite popular because they have featured many famous anime and guests.

Ghost in the Shell has achieved worldwide success from its excellent visuals to its sci-fi story. On June 22, the latest work in the series, Ghost in the Shell: Arise will release in theaters throughout Japan.
