Hemenway’s “Start a Revolution” Named New Opening Theme for Latest “Duel Masters” TV Anime

Hemenway’s song “Start a Revolution” was chosen as the new opening theme for the TV anime Duel Masters Victory V3. Since this January, the four-member band began releasing a single each month. The last single will release in October.

Duel Masters Victory V3 began broadcasting on April 6. This TV anime is the latest work in the popular anime series and is themed after the hugely popular trading card game Duel Masters.

Hemenway’s major debut was in 2011 when they performed the Naruto: Shippuden ending theme “By My Side” and Eureka Seven: AO opening theme “Escape.” Since then, they have become well-known among anime fans.

Regarding the song, Hemenway’s vocalist and guitarist Isaac commented, “Using the form of music there was a yearning for in Japan, we created a song to express our determination. I think everyone will grasp the connection that ‘Start a Revolution’ has to the anime Duel Masters.”
