The E-Book Awards 2013 Executive Committee announced E-Book Awards 2013, an individual ranking based on the annual sales of e-book stores, divided into genres.
Receiving the most support from readers in 2012, Space Brothers won first place. Manga seems to be very popular even in e-book form. In the overall ranking, 34 out of the top 50 were manga.
Chuuya Koyama, the author of Space Brothers, said the following comment about receiving the prize: “I’m not very familiar with e-books, so it struck me as a surprise that everyone reads it in e-book form... But since they are easy to carry around, which means that fans have Space Brothers at their side all the time, it makes me very happy. ”
