It’s no surprise to see Oda Eiichiro’s masterpiece towards the top of this list! One Piece is adored by fans all over the world, and with a cast as lovable as the Straw Hat pirates, it’s no surprise.

The series is centered around Monkey D. Luffy, the captain of the crew, as he seeks out a mysterious treasure called One Piece and tries to earn the title of King of the Pirates. He and his competition have unique powers gained through eating Devil Fruit, with the one Luffy having ate making him rubber-like and extremely stretchy.

1. Detective Conan

Similar to Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo, Detective Conan is a mystery masterpiece! The story focuses on Kudo Shinichi, a brilliant high school detective who’s turned into a kid after being forced to drink a mysterious poison. He pretends to be elementary school student Conan Edogawa and uses different gadgets to disguise his identity while still helping to solve cases.

This series by Aoyama Gosho was first serialized in 1994 and has had monumental success since. 92 volumes have been released, more than 850 anime episodes aired, and more than 20 films released, in addition to many other adaptations!

With how long-running the top winners were, maybe they’ll still be topping the charts five years from now. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see, though!
