“Puzzle & Dragons” Surpasses Ten Million Downloads! Collaborative Candy Announced!

GungHo Online Entertainment’s puzzle RPG app Puzzle & Dragons surpassed ten million downloads on March 9, 2013. The app was launched on the App Store in February 2012, and in September of the same year it was released on Google Play. This January, the app also became available on the Kindle Store and greatly expanded its player base. On each platform, the app is high ranking and very popular. Also, the app is available in both Japanese and English.

In celebration of the ten million downloads, in-game events were held, including special dungeons appearing and magic stones being distributed. A collaboration with Ragnarok Online was also held that featured the Porin Tower dungeon filled with adorable monsters.

A collaboration is also planned with Bandai’s card and chocolate wafer sweets, Shinra Bansho Chocolate. The sweets will release on April 15, so look forward to it!
