Opening Theme to the TV Anime “The Flowers of Evil” to Release in May!

The TV anime for the popular manga The Flowers of Evil by Shuzo Oshimi has begun broadcasting. The opening theme to the anime is performed by Uchujin.

Uchujin is a four-member pop band consisting of Asako Shinosaki (vocals), Kenta Komatsu (guitar), Hidehiro Niiya (bass), and Makoto Wada (drums). The band debuted in 2012. So far, they have released two indie works (one single and one album) and two major albums.

The release date for the CD single of the theme song to The Flowers of Evil, though still untitled, has been announced. The CD single will be released on May 22. This single is the band’s first since their major debut. The CD will include a four-song musical suite by Shinosaki that contains different versions of the theme song.

The jacket for the CD has also been revealed. It features a bizarre design that shows the silhouettes of all four band members covered in eyes.
