P.A. Works is a popular anime studio based in Toyama, Japan. The studio is known for anime such as Canaan and its work on the game Professor Layton and the Curious Village. However, the works that the studio is most known for are Tari Tari, Hanasaku Iroha, and, possibly the studio’s most notable work, True Tears.
On April 13, a live concert featuring all three of these works will take place at the Maihama Amphitheater. The title of the concert is “True Tears x Hanasaku Iroha x Tari Tari Joint Festival.” Due to advance tickets to the concert selling out in an instant, it was announced that the concert will also be broadcast live throughout Japan.
A number of artists from each work will be performing at the concert, including Sphere, Aira Yuki, the Shirahamazaka High School Choir (Ayahi Takagaki, Asami Seto, Saori Hayami, and Natsuki Hanae), and more. Bringing together such different genres as the love story of True Tears, the coming of age story of Hanasaku Iroha, and the school drama of Tari Tari is sure to make this event even more enjoyable.
For those who aren’t able to attend the concert, it will be broadcast live in 21 theaters across Japan. General tickets for the concert are also now on sale, but they are sure to go fast.
