The long-awaited episodes 11 and 12 of the popular anime Girls und Panzer were finally aired.
Episode 11 was broadcast on Tokyo MX On March 18, and episode 12 on March 25. In addition, on Bandai Channel’s “Everyone Stream,” episodes 1-10 were streamed live. Before the final episode was aired, an all-night screening event was held, which featured an advance screening of the final episode. Since the broadcast ended with episode 10 in December of last year, fans had been waiting for three months to see the final two episodes.
On March 23, Cineplex Mito held an event called “Kairaku Festa’s Eve - All-night Movie Carnival,” where they screened all 12 episodes. In Oarai-machi, Ibaraki, where this anime takes place, there was also an advance screening of the final episode. This all-night event was exceptional in the sense that it was screened on two screens.
Before each screening, the show’s voice actors expressed their greetings. Being the same setting used in the anime, it’s easy to see how big the anticipation in Ibaraki was.
