On Feb. 8, at Nicofarre in Roppongi, Tokyo, the Cho Party II Performer Announcement Live was held. The event was held to announce the performers for Nico Nico Cho Party II, a stage event primarily for Nico Nico users that will be held as part of Nico Nico Cho Kaigi 2, a yearly event put on by Nico Nico, Japan’s largest video sharing service.
Nico Nico Cho Party II will be held on April 27 and 28. One hundred and sixteen performers were announced for the event. Among them is the talented Shoko Nakagawa. Performers for the event will primarily consist of active users in the well-known Nico Nico categories “Try to Sing,” “Try to Perform,” “Try to Dance,” “User Live,” “Game Live,” and “Vocaloid.” Including all of these categories, the total number of performers for the event is currently 143, and this number is projected to go up even more.
The first Nico Nico Cho Party was held in April of last year and attracted an audience of 12,000 people and one million online viewers. Needless to say, it was a massive success.
