The Nintendo 3DS game Dragon Quest VII: Eden no Senshitachi was finally released on Feb. 27. Many Dragon Quest users flocked to game stores to buy the game. The previous game in the series, Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku, which was released in 2012 for the Wii, was an online game, so Dragon Quest VII is sure to be a fun game for those users who want to enjoy it by themselves.
Dragon Quest VII was originally released in 2000 on the PlayStation, meaning that the game is now 13 years old. The 3DS version is a faithful remake of the original with new, exclusive content. One example of this are the “special lithographs.” These lithographs allow the player to experience never-before-seen stories in the game. Furthermore, there are new pedestals in the resurrection areas. We wonder if they have anything to do with the new special lithographs.
It is predicted that this remake will break through one million units shipped. The original version was a huge hit, with more than four million units shipped, and this remake looks to become just as popular. The fanbase of Dragon Quest looks like it will only expand from here on.
