3DS Game “Dragon Warrior VII” Breaks Through One Million Units Shipped

Square Enix released Dragon Warrior VII (know in Japan as Dragon Quest VII: Eden no Senshitachi) on Feb. 2, and over one million units have already been shipped.

Dragon Warrior VII was originally released in 2000 for the PlayStation. By Sep. 2012, the game reached a record of 4.1 million units shipped domestically. The recently released remake version features new monsters, the ability to interact with fellow players, and more. There is enough new content for even those who completed the original game on the PS to enjoy. The graphic capabilities of the 3DS have added substantial depth to the game, and the music performed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra further enlivens the gameplay.

It’s expected that the 3DS version’s shipments will continue to increase. We can only wait to see if they will surpass the PS version’s record shipments!
