On Feb. 14, BANDAI NAMCO Games released the latest info on the game One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, which will be released on March 20.
What has come to light this time is a new mode called “Pirates Log Mode.” In this mode, a three way struggle unfolds between the Straw Hat gang, pirates, and the Navy. It’s a dream story for any fan. This mode offers plenty of attraction including dream matches unique to the game and large-scale battles.
It was also announced that the game’s system will incorporate two components called “Ambition Actions” and “Logia Actions.” These actions include Luffy using the Color of the Supreme King to make foes faint, Eneru using the power of his Rumble Rumble Fruit to call down lightning, and more. Many of the memorable scenes from the original work have been recreated in the game using these actions.
Furthermore, CG illustrations and screenshots of the Straw Hat Pirates, sans Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, have been released. Each character has been training for two years since the battle of Marineford, and each has learned new special moves. The action has definitely been increased for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2.
