On Mar. 20, the continuation to the record breaking action game of 2012, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, will be released. It has been roughly one year since the release of the first game.
The One Piece: Pirate Warriors series incorporates the non-stop, adrenaline-pumping beat ‘em up action from the Warriors series with the world of One Piece. The first game in the series was a huge hit, selling more than 1.2 million copies. It even ranked highly in yearly rankings for top selling games of 2012.
The new game in the One Piece: Pirate Warriors series, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, takes place two years after the first and features the New World Arc era Straw Hat Pirates as the main characters. The game will also include appearances by many characters from the series. Similar to the first game, a limited Treasure Box edition has again been planned for the new game. This limited edition will feature five special items including a soundtrack. The first editions of the game will also come with a download code for an outfit for Luffy from One Piece Film Z. One Piece fans, embark on a white knuckle, swashbuckling adventure this March!
