From April 27-28, the gigantic event Nico Nico Cho Kaigi 2 will be held at Makuhari Messe. New information has been released regarding the event’s “Super Train Area.”
The “Super Train Area” at last year’s Nico Nico Cho Kaigi featured a large-scale project that included a chartered Blue Train called Nico Nico Cho Kaigi Model running from Osaka to Ueno.
This year, eleven railway companies will participate in the “Super Train Area.” Furthermore, JR Kyushu will be selling a Nico Nico Cho Kaigi limited design of the IC card Sugoca at the event.
JR Kyushu and Odakyu Electric Railway uniforms will also be available for attendees to put on and take pictures with. In possibly the biggest news for train otaku though, it was announced that with total cooperation from JR East Japan, two bullet trains (200 Series and E1 Series) will be dismantled live and their parts made available to purchase at the event.
Nico Nico Cho Kaigi 2 is pulling out all the stops for train otaku. If you’re a train otaku, get to Makuhari Messe!
