Dentsu Debuts Official YouTube Manga Channel, First Work is “Dragon Ball!”

Dentsu opened the manga sharing YouTube channel MANGAPOLO on Feb. 4, 2013.

Many manga publishers are currently challenged with developing countermeasures against bootleg manga and plans for making a profit on manga distributed on the internet. MANGAPOLO uses YouTube to help solve these issues. The service profits through advertising, so there is no charge to users. This initiative may transform the manga industry on a global scale, and has become a topic of interest.

The channel has debuted with manga from the Dragon Ball series in full color with background music and dynamic effects. Take a look for yourself!
