The climax to the anime Shinsekai Yori, which began airing in October 2012, is quickly approaching. The second season of the anime has been arranged into three parts. The first part followed the main characters when they were 12 years old, the second part followed them when they were 14.
On Jan. 29, 2013, the third and final part began. This part follows the main characters when they are 26. The main characters have finally grown up and the story is finally coming to a climax.
Furthermore, on the same day that the third part began, an event titled “Shinsekai Yori: From the Music, Film & Talk Session” took place at the Sun Plaza in Nagano. Appearing at the event were Kana Hanazawa, Risa Taneda, and Yuki Kaji, who participated in a discussion and a live concert. An advance screening of the third part of the anime was also shown.
