Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens Anime Announces Cast and Creative Team

With the anime adaptation announced just last month, Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens has issued the first update on its cast and crew.

Macross Delta director Yasuda Kenji will direct the show which is set in the yakuza underworld of Fukuoka, with script and series composition by JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Food Wars’ Yasukawa Shogo. Inoue Hideki
( Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth, M3 Dark Metal ) will handle character design while Nakagawa Yotaro ( Code Geass, Prison School ) will provide the score. The animation will be produced by Satelight.

Members of cast announced so far include Ono Daisuke as Private Detective Kenji Banba, Kaji Yuki as the cross-dressing assassin Lin Xianming, and Kobayashi Yusuke as the rookie Saito, as well as Nakamura Yuichi and Namikawa Daisuke whose roles are expected to be confirmed with a cast and crew appearance at the Dengeki 25th Anniversary Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2017 on Oct. 1.
