New Encyclopedia Brings Together Over 200 of the World’s Legendary Weapons

“Sacred Swords and Demon Swords: Encyclopedia of the World’s Legendary Weapons” introduces such legendary weapons as King Arthur’s sword Excalibur using illustrations. The encyclopedia is being sold by Hobby Japan. It features over 200 weapons and is 272 pages in length.

The encyclopedia features explanations and realistic illustrations of legendary weapons from Europe, the Middle East, and the Orient. A wide range of weapons are included in the encyclopedia, from the Excalibur, which was said to protect its wielder, to the Tyrfing, which was said to kill a person every time it is drawn as well as be responsible for three great evils. Due to the extensiveness of the encyclopedia, it’s great for both fantasy fans and weapons fans.

Among the weapons included in the encyclopedia, 41 of the most well-known weapons include detailed information on the legend surrounding them. It’s a great way to increase your knowledge of folklore from all over the world, as well as a great reference book for artists and TRPG players.
