Fourth Round of Postcards Drawn by “Eva Q” Animation Director Begin Being Distributed!

The animation director of Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo (also known as Eva Q) is Takeshi Honda. Recently, Honda’s illustrations have been widely talked about.

Eva Q has become an even bigger hit than was anticipated. On Jan. 26, two months after the movie’s initial release, screenings of the movie were expanded by 100 theaters. Furthermore, the movie has already surpassed 5 billion yen in box office revenue and its momentum isn’t slowing down. Now, the fourth part of the postcard campaign for Eva Q has started.

Continuing from the third part of the campaign, the postcards for part four include Asuka Langley Shikinami, Shinji, Kaworu, and Mari Illustrious Makinami. Fans have been expecting that Ayanami Rei would finally be included in the campaign. However, the illustration titled “Ayanami Rei (Temporary Name)” has fans baffled. How will this illustration be different from the Rei that fans know?
