A mysterious newcomer appears!
The TV anime Robotics;Notes began broadcasting in January and it’s already entering it’s second season. The opening theme for season two will be “Hoko no Messiah” by Haruki, which is also Haruki’s debut single.
It is known that Haruki is fluent in both Japanese and Chinese, and that Japanese culture, in particular anime and games, has resonated with her since she was a child. Haruki may also be the first artist to be born from the so-called Japanese culture show “Cool Japan” since it became an international hit. However, other than this information, very little is known about the singer.
“Hoko no Messiah” was written and produced by Chiyomaru Shikura, who has produced various original works a compositions, including work on Robotics;Notes. On Jan. 10, the song began being played on air. The song also went on sale on Recochoku the same day. The CD single is planned to be released on Mar. 13. The first limited edition of the CD will come in an anime digipak that includes a DVD with the non-credit opening for the anime.
