Nikkei Entertainment x AT-X Anime Event Held on Christmas Eve

AT-X is a premium anime channel that is well known among late night anime fans. On Dec. 24, 2012, together with the entertainment magazine Nikkei Entertainment, a talk event titled “Tsugiani!~AOP Discusses Winter 2013 Anime~Presented by Nikkei Entertainment” was held at Pasela in Akihabara.

The anime event was a joint undertaking by AT-X and Nikkei Entertainment, and was held as a Christmas event to promote the publicly elected unit Anime Katteni Oen Project (AOP). AOP is a seven person group that consists of Saori Ogino, Yuki Hirose, Risa Sakurana, Kei Tomoe, Saki Shimizukawa, and Yuriko Hizaki.

The group acted as the presenters of the event and introduced and discussed the inside stories on new anime for the winter 2013 season. For many anime fans anticipating the new season, the event was a great Christmas present to tide them over.
