Kuroko no Basuke has seen an explosion in popularity over the last couple of years. The work is especially popular among young girls, and merchandise based on the TV anime has also been popular.
Speaking of which, it appears that merchandise for the series has expanded into a new area. That area is perfume. The new line of products is a collaboration between Bandai, which makes many of the products related to Kuroko no Basuke, and Cozy Wave, a company that makes perfume. The Kuroko no Basuke perfume lineup is based on characters from the series and is being sold under the brand name Nescre.
The name of the perfume line is “Perfume of The Basketball Which Kuroko Plays” and includes five different character perfumes: Ver. Kuroko, Ver. Kagami, Ver. Kise, Ver. Midorima, and Ver. Aomine. All five perfumes will be released simultaneously. Pre-orders for the perfumes began on Dec. 7, 2012. Each perfume costs 3,675 yen (tax included). Fans are sure to enjoy each character’s perfume.
