On Dec. 12, 2012, Square Enix released a downloadable Nintendo 3DS game called Dragon Quest X: Odekake Moshasu de Battle, a tie-in to the Wii game Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online, which was released on Dec. 5, 2012. The cost of the game is 600 yen and is now available on the Nintendo eShop.
Dragon Quest X: Odekake Moshasu de Battle is a card battle game in which players fight over 300 types of monsters from all over the world of Astoltia. The game makes use of the 3DS’s camera by enabling players to create monster cards from photographs of their face. Photograph your friends and family and find out who has the strongest monster card.
When specific stages in the game are cleared, special items called “Lucky Tickets” are earned for use in Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online. However, only those who register for a Square Enix Account will be able to use their earned Lucky Tickets in the Wii game. Only one account per Nintendo 3DS can be registered. Also, those who own multiple 3DS systems cannot have their tickets saved to the same account.
For those who haven’t played Dragon Quest X yet, this is the perfect opportunity to jump in!
