Comic Meteor is an online manga magazine operated by G-Mode that began distributing web comics on its website in April 2012. It was recently announced that one of its web comics, Tenshi no Drop, will be made into an anime. Tenshi no Drop was created by Chizuna Nakajima, who is known for his past work Iinari! Aibureshon. Tenshi no Drop is a school story with elements of wacky fetishism that follows a middle school girl named Botan Ichige.
Many of the details surrounding the anime are still unknown, but it has been announced that Kouji Ito will be directing. However, a promotional video that should shed light on many of the unknowns about this anime will be released on Jan. 12, 2013.
Even though Comic Meteor is still a new web comic site, it boasts an impressive lineup. Other works such as Nyan Koi and Broken Blade, which both have anime adaptations, were transferred to Comic Meteor from Flex Comix Blood in July 2012 and Flex Comix Next in September 2012 respectively. Being that it was given an anime adaptation among such other popular works, Tenshi no Drop seems to have impressive popularity. Look forward to the anime!
