Starry☆Sky, the romantic anime for girls, is now available in its entirety in DVD box sets!
The package illustrations for the "Anime Starry☆Sky Special Price DVD-Box 2" were revealed ahead of its release on Dec. 19, 2012. The illustrations were done by Kazuaki, who was in charge of the original artwork and character designs for the anime. The illustrations featured a total of seven characters including the Seiza Kareshi (Horoscope Boyfriends), whose birthdays fall between July and December, as well as Kagurazaka Shiki, who represents the 13th constellation, Ophiuchus. The price of the box set is 14,700 yen (tax included).
Starry☆Sky is a female-oriented franchise that began with drama CDs and games. The story is set in Seigetsu Academy, a school specializing in astronomy, where the protagonist is the only female student. The series recounts the romantic adventures between the protagonist and 12 different male characters who each represent a different horoscope with his own personality and characteristics. The anime is a short anime, with each episode lasting about 10 minutes.
The first DVD box set contains episodes 1-12, while the second contains episodes 13-26.
