The anime adaptation of GA Bunko’s popular light novel “Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru”, or “Oreshura” for short, is garnering a great deal of attention. In October, the voice cast for the main characters was announced, and on Nov. 24, the TV channels that will broadcast the anime were announced. For fans who have been anticipating the anime, the latter is arguably the most important announcement.
It was announced that the anime will broadcast on 11 channels: Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, GTV, Chiba TV, TV Kanagawa, and TV Saitama for the eastern part of Japan; ABC, TV Aichi, HBC, and RKB for the major domestic areas of Japan; and BS11 for areas outside of the previous two. The anime is also planned to be broadcast on Nico Nico Douga and Bandai Channel. Depending on the circumstance, the anime should be viewable on both sites.
Oreshura is a widely talked about work written by Yuji Yuji and illustrated by Ruroo. The story follows Kido Eita, a first year high school student who is always at the top of his class and has a distrust of love, who lives out his ordinary high school days along with his sister-like childhood friend, Harusaki Chiwa. That is until the beautiful, popular girl Masuzu Natsukawa enters his school and confesses her love for him. Well...at least confesses that she wants Eita to become her fake boyfriend. Add to the mix his former girlfriend, Himeka Akishino, and his fiance, Ai Fuyuumi, and let the fighting begin!
The animation is being produced by A-1 Pictures. The voice cast includes Ryota Osaka as Kido Eita, Chinatsu Akasaki as Harusaki Chiwa, Yukari Tamura as Natsukawa Masuzu, Hisako Kanemoto as Akishino Himeka, and Ai Kayano as Fuyuumi Ai.
