Even though it has been halted many times since it first began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1998, Hunter x Hunter still remains tremendously popular. The movie will have two theme songs. The first song, titled “Nagareboshi Kirari”, will be sung by Megumi Han, who voices the main character Gon, Mariya Ise, who voices Killua, and Aya Hirano, who voices the new character Retsu. Other than Hirano, this song marks the first time that Han and Ise will perform a song as themselves.
The second theme song, “Reason”, will be performed by the two person group Yuzu. Since these songs serve as an introduction to the movie, they are sure to become essential.
