Voice Actress Mayu Watanabe Dresses in Cosplay During Nerawareta Gakuen Stage Event!

Mayu Watanabe, whose third single “Hikaru Monotachi” was released on Nov. 21, played her first leading role in the animated movie Nerawareta Gakuen. On Nov. 18, Watanabe took part in a greeting event for the movie, where she arrived in full cosplay of the character she voices, Suzuura Natsuki. From her hairdo to her clothes, she looked like an exact copy of Natsuki. Fans were shocked when she appeared on stage saying, “Today I came as Natsuki-chan.”

Watanabe also sang the theme song for Nerawareta Gakuen, “Sayonara no Hashi”, which she describes as “a heartrending song that expresses Natsuki-chan’s feelings for Kenji-kun.”
On the other hand, her new single “Hikaru Monotachi” has “a near future electro feel” and appeals to the idea of “presenting a new you”.
