Why do I have to pay tariffs/import fees for my pre-order before it ships?

In response to recent policies, US tariffs are now required to be collected in advance before shipment.

As tariff rates applicable to shipments bound for the US can change suddenly, we only calculate the required import fee after your pre-order item has been stocked and it is ready to ship.
