I have never bought a model kits before, and obviously have never assembled one. But I loved how the preview looked and decided to give it a try. (I know I know, I should practice elsewhere first.) Upon opening the kits, I was severely disappointed. All the pieces are in solid base colors. No shading or gold painted on. If the images showed a grey colored figure, I would have expected manually painting the pieces is required. (But then again I'm a plastic kit noob, what do I know?) As a result, I haven't touched the kit. (For now.) Assembling Deedlit as is will just look like some cheap toy sitting on my shelf.
Hee-Ho! When I first saw this product, I knew I had to get it, Ho! I always loved how cute Jack Frost is in the games, Ho! And despite being waaaaaaaaaaaay smaller than I expected--my bad for not paying attn to the info--the diminutive size adds to the cuteness, Ho!
When I first looked at this shirt after removing it from my package, all I could think of was how fancy it looked! Even though it clearly is a T-shirt. But the gold print!!! It shined!!!! It shimmer!!!!! Unfortunately I won't wear it due to the fit. The material is on the thicker and more durable side, which is always a plus to me, but that also limits its stretching power. So this shirt, while not too small for me, still ended up feeling more restricting than I prefer. (Oh, and after washing, it's a lint magnet.)
I still remember the very first time I laid eyes on Nike of Samothrace in art history class... I loved that art piece beyond my usual admiration. So yeeeeeeaaaars when I first saw this figma... I was like, MUST HAVE!!! (And yes, I pre-ordered her.) But it's not just that I fancied this statue that made me want this figma so badly. Nope, it's also because she has wings and can be used with Venus de Milo. Meaning, I can finally have a poseable humanoid with wings for reference! Nike is (obviously) my favorite of the Table Museum series~
That dude in that iconic pose, now reposeable! Now I can give life and personality to him beyond "eternally thinking on the jon" but still be like, "He's finally not constipated!" Out of all the Table Museum figures, The Thinker entertained my brother the most. (The others aren't as funny.)
What if Venus de Milo as we know it has...arms?! This figure helps completes the missing image. She is not really a statue I have interest in, but her parts work with Nike of Samothrace, hence, bought her for that reason.
You have to admit, a multi-limb figure is definitely something anyone with curiosity would want to fiddle with. The Vitruvian Man does just that, and is even more entertaining due to being what he is. Suddenly giving him life and personality through the various possible poses! Con: The legs can get awkward cause of their perspective.
In the Table Museum series, the cherubs did not interest me. But I was buying the others so... Nabbed them to complete the collection. Fun, but they are definitely not my thing.
Awesome bundle! Sakura has some many outfits/figures that this made it easiest for a bargain hunter like me to choose. (Helps that I didn't have a strong preference/yearning for any specific ones.) The bonus cloth thingy...I'm not sure what to make of it, but into my collection it goes~
Bought some to gift to my brother. We only recognize some of the retro games/characters (guess we're not old enough) but the mystery is still fun nevertheless! Unfortunately we realized that the mystery is kind of spoiled by the visuals on the carton...resembling which franchise. orz But my brother is happy with the mystery figures! (Even if they are unknown to us.)
Very, very round. It's like have a super plump (aka fat) pet to squeeze...without the RL health risk to worry about! Good amount of stuffing makes it feel solid and can withstand all the hugs it entices!
I love Rilakkuma. I love how cute the Putittos are. So of course I had to get this!!! Unfortunately I don't have any plastic cups of anything with similar thickness to stick these lazing kumas onto. However, they are simply cute enough by themselves to collect.
At this point I was only skimming the episodes. (Cause I was bored and nabbed them for free with coupon codes.) For some reason, I assumed this was the last episode despite the series not being long enough for this to be the last episode. I don't remember why I thought that. Well, it isn't the last episode (as in, complete with an ending). However, it seems this is the second to last episode. Er, kind of. (The last page says next ep is final ep...part 1.)
At this point I was only skimming the episodes. (Cause I was bored and nabbed them for free with coupon codes.) I really don't remember anything years later.
At this point I was only skimming the episodes. (Cause I was bored and nabbed them for free with coupon codes.) If memory serves me right, the dramas failed to recapture my interest.
I think this was the episode where my attention span could no longer speedread and switches to completely skimming. (It's been a long while since I read this series.)
Continuing and still failing to make a lasting impression on me. (Probably would have loved this series in my early teens.)
This episode continues the story, and it's still so generic to me I didn't remember much after speedreading it.
Very typical shoujo manga. I spedread through this first episode and remembered nothing at the end. Many times I speedread first chapter and if it's catches my interest, I start slowing down midway or towards the end, and then reread slower from the first page. Anyway, it felt like a generic shoujo manga aimed towards the younger age bracket (which I've mostly outgrew enjoying).
After getting lost from spedreading all the previous volumes and losing interest in the previous volume, I couldn't force myself to resume any further. Reread (a lot slower) would be required, but I don't enjoy the series enough to do that.
If I remember correctly (it's been a long while since I spedread/skimmed this series), this is the volume where I began losing interest in the story. That was mainly due to getting lost on what's going on. Maybe if I hadn't spedread, that wouldn't have happened.
Spedread/skimmed most of this volume just like previous two volumes. It's been a long time since then, but I think this was the volume that got more interesting to me than usual.
As with the first volume, I mostly spedread/skimmed this. Again, I found it entertaining enough to reach the end, but remembered nothing.
Honestly, I speedread/skimmed this manga. It felt rather generic to me (I've read tons of manga) but didn't immediately bore me. Art and readibilty is okay, genre clearly action/fantasy, and... I remember not much after reading it. >_< Unlikely I would ever reread it.
Nabbed this only to extend TOM points expiration date. It was cheap and I didn't mind sacrificing a measly amount of TOM points. Didn't expect to win something. But I did. Ha! (A squishy fox keychain thingy.)
I've got two other female figures from different brand/line, and both are so similar that I can't tell the difference. Weird boobs, tiny hands, etc. Despite all the manga/anime I read/watch, I didn't realize how prevalent the very-far-from-reality anatomy dominated for the females. (The male versions at least had more visible differences.) This version remedies that! Sure she is still from from realistic (not. short. at. all.) but way more helpful (as long I'm not drawing a short female. Back to the mirror for those). I still find the flexibility is limited (for the poses I want).
When I bought this, I knew I would not really use him for pose references. (His build isn't what my drawing hand gravitates towards.) But I figure that the more realistic(?) anatomy would be more helpful than me (small female) posing in front of the mirror. Unfortunately my figure looks like he's always hunching his shoulders. Maybe I got a bad one. No matter how I tried to fix it (via forcing it down), it won't budge. Other than that, he bends and twists as I expected. (And the lack of flexibility for the complex(?) poses I always try to make kind of fits his...bulkiness.)
Gift for my brother, a Mega Man fan. Not the kind of composition he prefers for posters/wallscrolls, but it's Mega Man, so he still made room to hang it.
Gift for my brother, a Mega Man fan. He immediately made room on his walls to hang this and digs how the image is different from a typical poster pic.
Bought with coupon discount, otherwise I wouldn't buy NP points. Hard to win, laggy, etc. If you got money to blow and don't mind the gambling aspects (and have mad skillz or insane luck), go for it. Otherwise, not worth paying to play Akiba Net Catcher.
Bought this plushie for my brother, who digs enemies in Mario games. Of course he's happy to receive an enemies that explodes. >_<
If you're a fan of Yotsubato and more specifically, Danbo... You. Must. Get. THIS!!! Even the box it is packaged in is cute! (If you choose to keep it in the box like me.)
Goomba. Need I say more? (Okay okay, the bonus surprise was disappointing. But that's not important. What's important is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMBAAAAAA!!!)
...cat eating ice cream? Super cute Pusheem plushie holding and licking an ice cream. Perfect for summer display!
Time to gather the evidence and find who ate the last cookie! Fun plushie that feels so classic!
Okay not really all the colors of the rainbow... But who can resist the magical unicorn Pusheen?
If you're a Pusheen fan, then of course, you will want a Pusheen plushie! Well made and perfectly Pusheen!
Bought this to gift to my brother, a Mega Man fan. He's not into Pop Funko, but he's not against it. Even better, the figures include characters other than the Blue Bomber. (He's usually into villains more.) Soooooo, he's happy to receive more Mega Man goods for his collection!
Bought as a just-in-case gift. Turns out I ended up gifting them afterall cause I didn't know what to give. They loved it! The socks entertained them!
A good variety of snack to sample. Some classic / well known, some new/unfamiliar, some even bringing back memories for! It's good to feel like a kid again!
Man I haven't seen clothespins since I was a little child when my parents hang laundry in the backyard. Of course, I don't recommend using these plush clothespins to hang wet laundry. These are adorable and can be used for anything that needs closing (bag of chips?) or clipping together (keeping curtains shut?) or just decoration (cause they are so cute!) FYI: I decorate my curtains with them...and use them to keep them shut at night.
Bought mainly to collect. Feels very fancy opening and admiring the cards. It's like flipping through an artbook!
With the cat earphone jack plugs, even with a bad location, the cats still look like they are clinging to your device. These dog ones aren't as versatile. But they are cute and have better variety than the cats, so bought some for my collection.
I've played some Koei Samurai Warriors games, seeing those historical figures in neko form cracked me up! Super cute and full of personality (mainly from the games for me)! Unfortunately not ideal for my phone and tablet, but bought them to collect anyway.
The clinging neko version were already cute but this hanging ninja one beats them! Too bad I use a flip phone (bad earjack location for this) and my tablet would be uneven on the table if I plug ninja kitty in. But this is just so cute, I just wanted it to gush over it.
Super cute accessory to plug an unused earphone jack! Unfortunately only my tablet has a good location to use it.
Despite being keychains, I bought them to display instead of hanging on my purse/bag/keys (which would without a doubt decapitate them). They are very cute and display worthy in a cabinet shelf.
Cute large cats! This collection seems to have less stuffing that a previous style in the same line though. Still, even without hugging they are a great addition to any plushie army.
Fei Mao! (Oops, wrong language.) These roundish large plushie cats are waaaaaaay more huggable than the real life version (that will bite and scratch in response).
These bunnies are so adorable! I bought Mimi-pyon (pink) cause she looks so shy holding onto her ear like that~
I don't know why, but they feel very poofy to me compared to my other large plushies. (Maybe the pose?) Adorable and could serve as a replacement lap warmer. (Kind of.)
Cute holiday plushies that are the perfect size for squeezing--er, I mean hugging. They stand(?) on there own pretty well too!
Our phones don't really have a good placement for these earphone jack plugs, but we don't care, cause these are so freakin' cute! I did open one to stick on my tablet. He ended up getting paint scratched off one side and eventually broke off the plug from a drop to the floor. That neko is now retired sitting on my bookshelf.
Bought this for my brother, despite neither of us having a Nintedo system that supports Ammibos. He likes Bowser, this looks like a figure to collect, so why not?
Nothing really awesome or bad about this figure. I only grabbed Eren cause of a sale. (Yes, guilty of an impulse purchase here.) Doesn't have that comedic feel I remember (or think I remembered) from the corresponding scene.
Simple assembly and high quality appearance. The weight is good (won't topple over easily) and the mirror backing really makes this look fancy~
My only complaint on these plushies is that the heads are too heavy, creating an inbalance that requires additional support to keep them upright.
...head too heavy! Can't sit up without something to support the weight of their heads! Other than that, a good addition to any large plushie army you may have.
I don't know why, but I don't like using her. Also don't like using similar figma too. Maybe I just can't stand the anime female anatomy? Anyway, when combined with Body-kun to pose together, she fits (when flexibility is not required. Otherwise they look like robots trying to pose). By herself, I rather get up off my lazy butt and pose in front of the mirror. Minor/major con: Does not come with stand.
Out of all the similar poseable figures I bought, Body-kun is the one I used the most (which, in reality, isn't much. His build is the least exaggerated in the animeverse but far still from realistic). More flexible than my figmas but not flexible enough to pose the poses I try to use him as ref for. (I'm simply expecting too much.) Minor/major con: Does not come with a stand.
My brother likes Bullet Bill, and while I already got him the large plushie , that one doesn't have the arms. This mini plush, on the other hand, includes Bullet Bill's arms. Of course, my brother likes both.
We don't have any Nintendo systems that support Ammibos, but my brother likes Bowser. So this is a nice little figure for his collection.
The. Best. Prop. Set. EVAR!!! Even without having skelly sit on the jon for unknown reasons, just...possessing this set cracks me up! Look at that plunger! And the toilet seat!
This prop set is the most boring of the ones I bought, but I grabbed it cause I wanted them all. The door seems too abstract without any room/walls. The trash can would be neat if I had a thing for it. (Like putting skelly or something in it.)
Not a fave prop set, but anything that goes BOOM should be fun, right? (Not IRL, of course.) I mean, what does skelly have to lose? (Oh, is this why there's a hospital prop set?)
Not a fave prop set, but I like the variety of the items in this one. (The wheelbarrow looks fun even by itself!)
Not a fave prop set, but I wanted the electric guitar for reference. (Of course it's not a replacement for actually googling detailed photos, but I'm lazy.)
Perfect props from skellies!
This prop set is classy fun! Even if skellies aren't using it, I can still use it for reference or other figures.
Not a fave prop, but I still like to have variety.
Bought this just to add as a bonus gift in a present. Not sure how well it does its job, but I find it cute and definitely more entertaining to look at than a typical pinetree.
Cute little charms. Really liked how they are packaged so I kept them as is for my collection.
I bought this hoping it'd help with poses (cause there's limit to self posing in front of the mirror and looking up reference photos) but eventually realized this figma doesn't suit my purposes. (Lack of flexibility, the body type, anatomy.) Still, she's fun to pose like any other action figure.

Man, when's the last time I played with pull back winding toys? Bring back your inner childhood of sitting on the floor and letting loose mobile toys! (Or just race them on your desk to alleviate a few seconds of boredom.)
The Kaomoji-kun mugs are entertaining but not really a fave to use. Their shape and size isn't practical for our use. (But as novelty gift, sure why not!)
Bought this as a gift for my brother, a Mega Man fan. Having played most of the games in the franchise, of course he loved receiving a figure of Zero to add to his collection.
These big aplaca plushies are cute and somehow quirky. Decent amount of stuffing makes them firm enough to stand but not always (depending on if the feet got deformed). The fur is suuuuuuuuper soft and...fragile. I feel like my fingers would strip them bald if I handle them too much!
When I first saw theses, I went crazy and preordered all of them. I love how their tails dangle cause of the zipper. (But kind of afraid that'll break the zipper.) Gave one to my mother and she placed it atop her PC tower, using it to store some USB flash drives. But in general we treat them as plushies instead of pouches.
I remembered when I first saw these, I preordered all three styles in great anticipation. Gifted them to my mother and she found them cute too! (But of course!) We never actually took the cats out of the pot to do the puzzle, because we just like looking at them as is.
Who knew that Rilakkuma would actually do something for me other than laze around? He's a cute rectangular plush tray on the dresser beside my bed holding important things. (Glasses, keys, etc.) Good job guarding them while I sleep, Rilakkuma!
I like the idea of Moekana but don't have to motivation to actually used the cards. I looked through them once and they are still awaiting for me to actually get motivated to learn. *sweatdrop* The cards are cute so even if learning doesn't happen, at least they are entertaining to look at. (Cause I do like the feel of looking at cards in my hand.)
I bought this as a gift. Wish I didn't gifted it away. Examining it entertained me! (That small face inside!) I like the practicality of it serving as a small box to hold things while being entertainingly cute.
Bought this as a gift for a penguin lover, but I'm guessing this is better suited for fans of Sumikko Gurashi instead. The size is smaller than I expected, making the "pillow" not really a pillow. (More like a flat plushie.) I guess it's supposed to be more like a display cushion on the couch.
...But I can't. >_< This Rilakkuma plush is a nice size, super soft, and his signature back zipper works...! Revealing that blue polka dot pattern inside...! Where secret stuff could be stashed in!!!
I already loved the crossover plushie but this miniature size is even better! And look at just how cute Momo-chan (pink) is with her decorative flower! She stands out from the other corps members!
Rilakkuma is so cute and awesome and just look at how adorable he is hugging his (removable) yellow pillow I can't even...!
Got this for my brother, a Mega Man fan. Too precious to use--we prefer playing with (hence destroying) cards we don't love--but this a nice addition to his collection.
Love how cute this crossover is! Sora-kun (blue) is both adorable and BRAVE!
These screen cleaners are cute! But I find prefer to treat them as mini plushies instead of a cleaner attached to a mobile device due to their bulky cube shape.
A cute little lunch bag. Not for a big meal though, maybe for a snack. (And obviously not meant for heavy duty.)
Chibi Bob Ross in mini plushie form~ I have him sitting atop my bookshelf with other fellow plushies (Rilakkuma and Ninja-kun!) and man, does he bright up the area!
This hoodie is cute! (And practical! Love the huge pocket/pouch even though my cat is too fat for it.) But I wish the length was a little longer and that the thumb opening in the sleeves were positioned better so that the sleeve feels less twisted.
My cat is too fat--and hates being held--for this hoodie's specialty. But I love that the pouch/pocket is so HUGE. So handy when I go to the basement for supplies/food/whatever and just drop 'em in the pouch! (Walking back up the stairs with full pouch is another story.) Pouch aside, I like the material and how this hoodie is longer in length than usual.
This freebie (with coupon) bag is vibrant (bright red!) and cute (Ninja-kun!). The quality of the material isn't very high though, so best to for light stuff with minimal hard edges/corners. (Or just add the bag to your Ninja-kun collection!)
I bought several of these to use as quick (unplanned) gifts. They are cute and each plushie have their own quirks (from the sewing job). Those who received them from me were super happy. As for if they actually help aid in falling asleep, I have no idea because I never asked. But I like the idea of a mini plushie possibly helping them sleep~
When I first saw this chocobo calendar, I wanted it. (And eventually preordered it with a coupon discount.) This isn't a boring calendar. This isn't a purposeless figurine/toy/whatever-you-wanna-call-it. It's cute and serves a purpose! (Other than collecting dust.) Several months have passed now, and I still do enjoy how every time I look at it (atop my PC tower), a cute chocobo is looking (waving?!) back at me. (And reminding me of that day's date.) The cubes/dice/whatever-they-are-called feel good whenever I handle them. Updating from one day to the next is often a simple turn for two dice, while other days still require me to turn them in all directions to find the rig...Read more
I love Ninja-kun! The plush version of him is so cute and full of personality. I currently have 5 total now and each one seems different than the other. (One was sealed in his bag kicking a leg up, another has a slightly shorter face, etc.) Really like how solid and heavy they are. Only con is that sometime they have trouble sitting up by themselves without falling backwards.
Bought this double set for my brother since he's a Mega Man series fan--Rocket Raccoon being nice addition. (We have never seen Guardians of the Galaxy, but we both kind of like him based on general impressions.) My brother is happy with these two. (FYI: He's not a Funko collector.)
Bought two sets; one for myself and one for my brother. Both sets contained all 6 figures plus 2 different duplicates. (Lucky! Last time I bought a Putitto set all the duplicates were the same...) We do not have the correct items to hang/sit Tom and Jerry on, but managed to improvise--place on bookshelf, lego sets, etc.--for a dose of their mischief.
These cats aren't cushions. No, not even close. These cats are pure stretchy fluff. So soft, so stretchy, so cute! (Make me think of mochi for some reason.) Every time I grab it, I can't help but squeeze and stretch and pet the cat! It's magic watching its shape bounce back! But seriously, the word cushion is misleading. These are more like giant stress balls in plushie form. There's not enough body/filling to make them huggable or serve as a cushion...unless a deflated cat is your idea of a cushion.
I needed stands for figures that didn't come with any. Grabbed this one not knowing if it'll suit my needs or not. Indeed, it's not perfect, but it does the job.
Pre-ordered this as a gift a long while ago. (Yes, I'm late at reviewing.) When I first saw this, I was like, "I must get this!" cause it's not often I come across figures of characters with lower amount of fans. Being a gift, I did not personally test the figure out. But from what I was able to see through the plastic, I was a bit disappointed at the paint job. It seemed a little dull and sloppy for the price. That aside, the receiver was super happy to add another Barret figure to his collection. He preferred the original FF7 design over AC though.
A super cute mini Rilakkuma! I must have dies a thousand times gushing at his cuteness! Disliked that the backside is missing his tail, but that's to be expected for a screen cleaner. His poor tail will get in the way...maybe even ripped off! *gasp!* No, better that the tail is gone in the first place so that he does not suffer!
*ahem* As for how good he performs cleaning screens... I don't use him as a screen cleaner. So I don't know. Only got him cause of his cuteness~
That's what this gift I bought for him did. Large enough to hug, filled enough to retain shape (most of time), this Bullet Bill is like a teddy bear to a grown Mario fan. Only con I have seen is that Bullet Bill likes to commit suicide by rolling off the bed. A lot.
Bought this as a gift quite a while ago. We find it rather small, but its not easy to find non-protagonist character goods that aren't horribly deformed bootlegs. Despite the size, he is happy to have this plush.
Bought this a long while ago as a gift. I myself think it's cute. He likes it, probably cause it's from Mario series. The rubbery flexible material these kinds of keychains are made from are always a plus to us.
Out of all the cat plushies I've bought so far, this one has been my fave. The size is perfect for hugging. The shape is perfect for hugging. The amount of filling is perfect for hugging. (Later version were less densely filled.) Everyone I've shown this to loves to hug it!
Way back when I purchased this, I wanted Rilakkuma but only Korilakkuma was in stock. Well, I don't care anymore, because my Korilakkuma cushion is super cute! The size is good, and I mainly use her for when I'm slouching. (It doesn't appeal to me to sit or snooze on her face though.) The padding is on the firmer side and the material is super soft. Only con when it gets dusty. *rubs dust off surface*
I purchased this quite a long while ago as a gift for my brother, a Mega Man fan. He enjoys the older games and tends to like the bad guys more than the protagonist. The combination of 8-bit sprite and a villain made this perfect. He also liked the material.
The Rilakkuma items I have that include a working zipper are great for storing small things. This particular item, being a pencil case, I treat just the same. But in reality, I do not require a case for holding writing utensils. So whether Rilakkuma fulfills his intended duty or not, I do not know. But! Having him laze on my computer tower while holding USB flash drives works just as well~ Thanks for safekeeping my stuff, Rilakkuma!
As a long time fan of RPGs--including Bravely Default--Bravely Second continues to satisfy me. Haven't played much of this sequel yet, but I already greatly appreciate the "Bring It On!" system over the battle bonus streaks from the first game. This makes grinding a lot easier; however, it also makes it super easy to over level. Whoops! But I rather be over powered than spend many hours grinding like back in the old days.
About the censoring: It doesn't bother me. In fact, I didn't even notice there were changes until I saw negative reviews elsewhere solely complaining about it. This doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game itself.
The paint job looks wonderful! (Bought the standard color version.) As the preview photos suggests, the colors aren't flat. I love the depth and texture created as a result, elevating this figure above the typical standard cheap mass produced toys. Did not notice any bad paint job in the details. I think that taking photos or using as a reference in fanart will work out very well.
Assembling Zoro was fairly easy. Required a little muscle to fully slide some parts together. (I was afraid of breaking something. *sweatdrop* ) Warning: Two of the swords sheathes are pre-attached but badly aligned. The sash would not correctly wrap around them no matter how much muscle I used. Afte...Read more
