When I bought this, I knew I would not really use him for pose references. (His build isn't what my drawing hand gravitates towards.) But I figure that the more realistic(?) anatomy would be more helpful than me (small female) posing in front of the mirror. Unfortunately my figure looks like he's always hunching his shoulders. Maybe I got a bad one. No matter how I tried to fix it (via forcing it down), it won't budge. Other than that, he bends and twists as I expected. (And the lack of flexibility for the complex(?) poses I always try to make kind of fits his...bulkiness.)
