First appearing in The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, Uzuki Shimamura is an idol voiced by Ayaka Ohashi and has since also appeared in Shiny Festa, One for All, and Gravure for You!. In Gravure For You! and the anime adaptation, she is affiliated with 346 Production.

While Rin Shibuya (voiced by Ayaka Fukuhara) is known for being popular within the Cool category, Uzuki became belatedly popular within the Cute category! She was unpopular for being an average character available at the beginning of the game, but before long she was considered an underdog and became popular and loved for that.

In addition to being average in everything from grades to sports, she has an infallibly sweet personality and motivation towards becoming a top idol. She’s also a member of the New Talent unit alongside Rin and Mio Honda, an idol in the Passion category voiced by Sayuri Hara.
