NERV Merchandise

NERV is the iconic organization at the center of the massively influential Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise by Hideaki Anno. Created to combat the Angels after the Second Impact, NERV is a paramilitary special agency under the aegis of the United Nations and is responsible for the creation and development of the Evangelion mecha fighting craft.

NERV is led by scientist Gendo Ikari, father of the series’ protagonist, Shinji Ikari. He is seconded by Deputy Commander Kozo Fuyutsuki with Misato Katsuragi as the tactical field commander of the Eva pilots and Ritsuko Akagi as the chief scientist in charge of the technical aspects of the business. Also on the staff are the three computer technicians Maya Ibuki, Makoto Hyuga, and Shigeru Aoba, and NERV is equipped with three supercomputers called the MAGI which were created by Gehirn scientist Naoto Akagi who was also the father of Ritsuko.

There are several branches of NERV throughout the world with NERV HQ located in Tokyo, NERV-01 in Massachusetts, NERV-02 in Nevada, and NERV-03 in Germany plus bases in the Arctic and even on the moon!
