Mameshi Pamyu Pamyu

Mameshi Pamyu Pamyu are even better than those cute little bean dogs Mameshiba usually are because they’ve all been designed in collaboration with the internationally famous Japanese pop star, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu! Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is well known for her surreal music videos which are full of cute and strange imagery and have also even featured the Mameshi Pamyu Pamyu guys too.

Right now there are five major characters in the series: Pamyu Pamyu who was the first in the series and is modelled on Kyary Pamyu Pamyu herself, and four smaller Mameshiba including Unicorn, Pug who’s a punk rocker, Tsugihagi who’s made entirely out of patchwork, and Skeleton who has a completely transparent body.

The Mameshi Pamyu Pamyu are featured in various and ever-expanding forms of merchandise from plushies to T-shirts and other fashion items as well as phone cases, mascots and household items.
