Kantai Collection -Kan Colle- Merchandise

Kantai Collection, or KanColle as it’s known to fans, started life as a free-to-play web browser game developed by Kadokawa, but has since gone on to conquer just about every kind of media and merchandising around.

Now also adapted into a popular TV anime as well as a manga and a series of light novels, the franchise’s main theme is that is takes classic naval vessels from World War II and re-imagines them as if they were cute young ladies. The moe “Fleet Girls” also take on the characteristics of their respective ships as part of their personalities, and in the game the player takes on the role of the “Admiral” who is able to customize and upgrade the fleet to create the best (and cutest) naval force possible from cuties like Shimakaze, Akagi, Fubuki, Mutsuki, Kongo and all the rest!
