Equal parts horror and romance, Diabolik Lovers began in 2012 as a visual novel by developer Rejet and publisher Idea Factory. In it, you take on the role of Yui Komori and are given not only a number of potential suitors to choose from, but also multiple endings for each suitor, giving the game incredible replay value and exciting possibilities.
Since its initial release, Diabolik Lovers has seen a great deal of success with its franchise receiving not only sequel games, but also a play and anime adaptations directed by Atsushi Matsumoto with themes by Hikaru Midorikawa, Kousuke Toriumi, Yuki Hayashi, Ryohei Kimura, and Daisuke Kishio.
