Charlotte Figures & Merchandise

Charlotte is an original 13-episode TV anime series directed by Yoshiyuki Asai and created by P.A. Works and Aniplex. Like Angel Beats!, Charlotte was originally conceived by Jun Maeda who also wrote the screenplay and composed some of the music, and the character design for the series was also provided by fellow visual novel studio Key employee Na-Ga.

Every 75 years when a comet known as Charlotte passes by Earth it spreads a kind of dust which gives some children supernatural abilities upon hitting puberty. Series protagonist Yuu Otosaka is one of these special kids and develops the ability to possess others. Forced to switch to Hoshinoumi Academy and join its student council by fellow student Nao Tomori whose special ability is invisibility, Yuu also meets Jojiro Takajo who can move at extreme high speed and Yusa Nishimori who can talk to the dead. Yusa’s deceased sister, Misa Kurobane, also often possesses Yusa allowing her to use her special ability of Pyrokinesis. Later, Yuu’s younger sister Ayumi awakens an ability to make everything around her collapse, and Yuu also starts to remember about his brother, Shunsuke, who has the ability to travel through time.
