This volume, ILLUSTRATION 2024, contains works by 150 talented Japanese illustrators who have achieved worldwide recognition through their work in various facets of pop culture to the ever-changing internet culture.
The illustrators in this volume are completely different from those featured in the previous volume, ILLUSTRATION 2023, so you can see the latest in modern illustration.
The cover of this volume, which is also the 10th anniversary of this series, has been designed through our first collaboration between artists. The currently popular artists, tamimoon and Hakuiki Shiroi, collaborated on this unique cover art.
This book also features interviews with Ado, the singer who has continued to captivate the Japanese music scene since her explosive debut song "Useewa," and Keita Mori, an art director whose edgy artworks have been used as many book covers, as well as a cross-talk between tamimoon and Hakuiki Shiroi on the process of making this book cover.
Also, this volume was printed using the latest Brilliant Palette® printing technology that was made specifically for illustrations and art prints. Please enjoy the charms, colors, and brushstrokes that each artist has embedded in their world to the finest details in this volume.
