In celebration of Vocaloid Meiko’s birthday on Nov. 5, Hashimoto Shitsugei is proud to offer a beautiful acrylic stand that blends high quality printing with the traditional Japanese craft of maki-e. The acrylic stand has an eye-catching 3D construction and comes with two acrylic sheets: one featuring high quality printed artwork of Meiko created by illustrator Mamenomoto and printed using the latest technology that captures her with a mature air in an elegant kimono, and the other a transparent maki-e background handcrafted one-by-one that packs the power and punch of red lacquerware themed after her image color with a sunset scene that beautifully blends gold, silver, and black powder.

Faithfully recreating the original artwork down to the smallest details, a third acrylic piece featuring a wave pattern with a fish jumping out of the water is also included and is detailed down to the flower petals casualty placed at the top. Last but not least is a clear stand featuring a checkerboard design and Meiko’s logo to display it all on.
