Until recently, the lack of notable Cowboy Bebop figures for collectors gave us the real folk blues. But First 4 Figures has finally shared with TOM and its fans a prize piece to enjoy - the indomitable Jet Black, seasoned captain of the Bebop himself!

And good ol’ Jet is built here like a tank! Including his base, Jet is an outstanding 20.5” tall. As you can see from the image, that makes him taller than four soda cans stacked one on top of another! With that much room to work, F4F made sure to expertly replicate every detail of the beloved character and added a silky sheen that makes him pop in the light. Check out the intricate muscle sections on his mechanical arm. It’s the perfect artificial mirror to his human one, creating a harmonious tone about him like a good jazz number. Jet’s arms are drawn together to clear the chamber of his trusty sidearm, reminding us he’s every bit the bounty hunter and former ISSP investigator once known as the Black Dog.

Then there’s Jet Black’s classic attire - ripped and rough around the edges right down to the course texturizing of his silver metallic boots. The look of a man who’s too old for this sh!t but keeps on going anyways, because someone has to back up Spike and Faye when they’re in a jam session.

All this swagger standing on a black top base with the classic show logo brilliantly razed into it. Around the base are several anime stills of Jet Black in action, celebrating 20 years of one fifth of the best crew to fly the skies from Mars to Ganymede.
