Gods' Gambit is brought to you by the board game brand Switch Games, a new company founded upon the mission to deliver the creations of Japanese game designers to the world. This game is the latest creation by Seiji Kanai, creator of Switch Games’ very first product, the world-famous game Love Letter.
The rules of Gods' Gambit are very simple and similar to those of UNO, with the addition of Mr. Kanai’s personal touch. Players assume the role of fallen gods, and accumulate good deeds by taking turns putting down cards (representing their servants or an incarnation of themselves) of either the same color (i.e. same region) or the same number (i.e. same problem) as the card on the top of the discard pile, much like UNO. The fallen god who gets rid of all the cards in their hand first is granted permission to return to the High Heavens. Keep in mind, however, that oftentimes it is the god who gets in the other gods’ ways who is able to make it in the end!

Take on the role of a fallen god tasked with performing good deeds so you can return to the High Heavens in the board game Gods' Gambit! Playable by between 2 and 6 players (with a suggested age of 10 and over), this game is a simple but challenging crowd-pleaser that’s great as a party game, requiring only around 20 minutes once you’re familiar with the rules, and features brilliant art and wonderful writing.
