Hannari means “elegant” in the dialect spoken in southern Japan, and Hannari Tofu is certainly a stylish soy-based lifeform and is just as soft and fluffy as its namesake. Now you can enjoy even more Hannari Tofu with half the calories thanks to these tiny “tenori” size versions which are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand! As well as a complete set, there are five different versions available individually: Ume Tofu (pink), Yaki Tofu (white body with a “grilled” yellow top”), Yuzu Tofu (yellow & green), Matcha Tofu (green), and Goma Tofu (black). Each comes with Hannari Tofu’s adorable face embroidered on the front as well as the characteristic decoration on its forehead: a plum for Ume, a star for Yaki, a yuzu fruit (Japanese citrus fruit) for Yuzu, a tea leaf for Matcha, and a tiny black sesame seed for Goma who also has cute freckles on his face!
