Kenji Kamiyama has proved himself one of today’s most important anime directors with projects such as Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Cyborg 009 and Eden of the East under his belt. Now he’s turned his hand to a new field with this intriguing line of jewellery designs in collaboration with high-end jewelers Dr Monroe! The series is based around the “Wizard Skull” image which Kamiyama believes best expresses his feelings about the characters in his work. This excellent pendant is the Wizard Skull itself and is available in either right or left facing versions which each feature an embossed impression of a cyborg head on a metallic panel. Made in Japan to a high standard, these stylish necklaces are perfect for fans of Kamiyama’s work but are sure to go down equally well with science fiction fans everywhere.
