Gunbuster began life as a six-episode OVA series back in 1988, but has remained hugely popular with fans ever since and even spawned a sequel, Diebuster: Gunbuster 2, in 2004. In this classic mecha anime series, Earth is threatened by giant insectoid aliens and the Gunbuster fighting machines are humanity’s best hope for victory. Now they can be your ultimate weapon too as the Gunbusters have finally been recruited to Tamashii Nations’ Super Robot Chogokin lineup of incredibly detailed, articulated robot figures. Gunbuster comes with all the parts needed to recreate the classic “Buster Koreda!” move, reactor core parts, parts for the “Super Inazuma Kick” move, joint parts for the Giga Drill (Giga Drill sold separately), as well as the usual array of alternate hand parts. Another finely crafted addition to the Super Robot Chogokin lineup, Gunbuster is an excellent addition to any mecha collector’s arsenal.
