Still much loved after its debut 30 years ago, Armored Trooper Votoms is one of the classic “hard sci-fi” franchises from the golden age of anime! The series follows the adventures of Armored Trooper Pilot Chirico who is suddenly transferred onto a top-secret mission unaware that it is a covert attempt to betray his own side. He is arrested and tortured, but escapes and tries to find out the truth of what has happened to him. The Scopedog is one of the main fighting craft employed in the series and is piloted by Chirico himself. This extremely cute “D-Style” super-deformed plastic model kit from Kotobukiya perfectly captures all of its excellent futuristic military features from the anime including its iconic red shoulder in a cute, chibi style. You can even open and close his visor and see the cockpit inside into which you can place a tiny super-deformed Chirico figure with or without his helmet! This is one model kit no Votoms fan or cute robot lover will want to miss out on.
