Blassreiter, the 2008 anime series from Gonzo and Nitroplus, is set in a fictionalized Germany where there has been an outbreak of “Demoniacs,” biomechanical monsters who brutally attack people seemingly for no particular purpose. The series centers around the forces assembled to counter this new and terrible threat, XAT (Xenogenesis Assault Team). Chief among these is Amanda Werner who eventually becomes the lone pilot of the last remaining Paladin after the destruction of XAT. This T-shirt commemorates one of the Gonzo team’s favorite scenes from Episode 15 of the series where Amanda inscribes the names of her fallen comrades on her Paladin to commemorate their sacrifice. Accordingly, the names Albin Lutz, Bradley Guilford, and Hermann Saltza along with the XAT crest and the kanji for “bonds” (kizuna) are visible on this T-shirt just as they can be seen on Amanda’s Paladin. Perfect for fans who also want to commemorate these characters and Amanda’s sentiment in inscribing their names, this T-shirt is one that those who still appreciate Blassreiter will certainly not want to miss out on!
