Laura Bodewig was the fifth heroine to be introduced to the Infinite Stratos series. A first year transfer student to the IS academy and a member of the German military, she acts as her country’s representative in the school. Her original motivation for transferring to the academy may have been her intense hatred of the series’ hero, Ichika, but her feelings for him eventually change in true anime fashion. Having been artificially created by the German military and raised entirely by them, she is unfamiliar with “normal” human behavior and has something of a superiority complex. Nevertheless, her feelings for Ichika cause her to think more about how “normal” girls behave and she becomes more interested in her appearance. However, as you can see from this statue, she still isn’t quite used to it yet and appears extremely embarrassed in her first experience with a bikini! This cute statue certainly displays a softer side to Laura than her normal straightforward persona. Add her to your collection while she’s still in a kinder mood!
