Before Crisis - Final Fantasy VII & Last Order - Final Fantasy VII Original Soundtrack is a compilation of the soundtracks to the Final Fantasy VII prequel game Before Crisis and side story OVA Last Order. Of the 27 tracks which appear on the album, the first 12 are taken from Before Crisis, while the remainder appear in the Last Order OVA. In contrast with other Final Fantasy VII properties, the majority of these tracks were composed by Takeharu Ishimoto rather than the game’s original composer, Nobuo Uematsu, although some tracks are clearly inspired by the original game’s score. Fans of the Final Fantasy franchise will certainly relish the opportunity to revisit the musical world of these two very different strands of the Final Fantasy VII universe.
