The 100 Painters Exhibition was held in Akiba, Tokyo in May 2011 where 100 artists, mostly from Japan, were exhibited. The themes had a very strong traditional Japanese element, and this clear poster of the piece “Japanese High School Girl” by Santa Tsuji is no different. Fans of Nitroplus may be familiar with Tsuji as being the illustrator of Super Sonico. The girl depicted in “Japanese High School Girl” retains this moe moe and innocent characteristic of Tsuji’s work.
